A Milestone in Energy Efficiency for Lebanon
We are proud to share a significant step forward in Lebanon’s commitment to sustainability: the country's first-ever Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) has been awarded to the Zina Tower Mixed-Use Building in Beirut.
As a carefully selected pilot project, Zina Tower’s energy label was evaluated using the #BEP_Tool, establishing a new standard for sustainable construction in Lebanon.
At Pierre Dammous & Partners, we focused on optimizing energy performance through high-efficiency air conditioning, demand-controlled ventilation, LED lighting, a robust Building Management System (BMS), and variable frequency drives for motors. Our team meticulously designed the MEP systems and supervised the works on site, ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards.
A key moment for our firm occurred during the regional BUILD_ME workshop in Cairo, Egypt, on February 19, 2025, where the official EPC was handed over to Pierre Dammous, Chairman of PDP. His personal involvement underscores our commitment to thoughtful, sustainable design.
This achievement marks an important step toward a greener future in Lebanon. Stay tuned for more updates on our ongoing efforts in energy efficiency and sustainable design.
